The Vallis First School Association is made up of Parents, Carers, Grandparents, Teachers and School Staff. Every Parent/Carer automatically becomes a member of the VSA when their children join the school.
Anyone is welcome to join the VSA committee, or to support our work in other ways. We’d love to hear your ideas!
The main aim of the VSA is fundraising, but to do this through enhancing school life with social events and supporting the work of the school staff.
We run lots of events during the school year from children designing Christmas Cards, Hundred Club, Cake Sales and Book Sales to Discos, Family Bingo and our Summer Fair. It’s not just about raising money for us, but also bringing the school and local community together to have fun at all our events.
We usually meet on a Thursday after school once or twice a term. A creche is provided. If you are unable to make meetings, we still welcome your input – please leave any comments for the VSA with the school office or speak to:
Tracey Moore – Chair (parent)
Sarah Ping – Treasurer (parent)
Emma Vautier – Secretary (parent)
Ali Plumridge – Teacher representative
