In addition to the After School Provision provided by Child’s Play UK, we also run after school clubs during term time from 3.10pm to 4.10pm. A Clubs email will be sent to all parents/carers towards the end of the previous term, giving you the opportunity to book your child on one of these clubs for the forthcoming term. Spaces on these clubs are limited, and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
- Monday 3.10pm – 4.10pm Newshound & Creative Writing with Mrs Stutt. Open to Year 2, 3 & 4. Limited to 12 children.
- Monday 3.10pm – 4.10pm Football with IG Sports. Open to All Years. Limited to 16 children.
- Tuesday 3.10 – 4.10pm STEM with Miss Restorick. Open to Year 2, 3 & 4. Limited to 12 people.
- Tuesday 3.10pm – 4.10pm Ball Sports with IG Sports. Open to Year R, 1 & 2. Limited to 16 children.
- Wednesday 3.10pm – 4.10pm Djembe Drumming with Abi Bailey. Open to All Years. Limited to 16 children. Please book directly with Abi djembetots@gmail.com
Children will have the opportunity to learn a variety of sounds and rhythms on the West African djembe drum, occasionally djun djun drums, bells and shakers along with songs, traditional stories and dance movements. - Thursday 3.10pm – 4.10pm Dance with IG Sports. Open to all years. Limited to 16 children.
Please note, If you decide to stop clubs mid way through the term; full payment is due unless we can fill your child’s space.
Children in receipt of Free School Meals or families on low income may qualify for help from the school, with the costs of after school clubs. Please contact the school office on office@vallisfirstschool.org.uk, confidentially for further details.
